Hello!
Last week we had an online call and chat with Victoria about her story project titled "Fairytale". She presented and explined to us how she came up with this project idea and why. She was originally living in Mariupol with her husband and little boy when they had to evacuate because of the russian forces taking over the city.
After telling us her story, she then presented her team with who she is working on the project, how they met and what their roles are.
One of the professors who were in the call with us later on asked if any of us could help with her on-going project by any chance, which she said she would be more than happy to do.
Up until that point at a few parts in the call I got so emotional I almost started tearing up. Because I'm originally from an east-european, post-communist, country, some of the pannels, drawings and pictures looked like "home" to me as well. When I heard there might be a chance to help and be a part of this project I couldn't stop smiling. Right after the call ended, I contacted one of my professors about it and they redirected it to Victoria. After a day or two she contacted me back and I'm very soon going to have a call with her about what I should do in terms of work on the project.

After having a video call with Victoria, discussing what I'm good at and what she would need in terms of work, we decided that I will help with background art and will see what else will be needed within the project along the way. The artstyle she wants and works with for this project is incredebly adorable and I think and hope my work will be of use for this project as well.
